We ordered 9 of these for the library patrons to use at our computer stations. The patrons love them! The base and seat seem to be sturdy. However, we had a lot of the backs break very quickly. Several cracked at the top of the back. The company was quick to send us replacements, some of which also cracked. One broke at the base of the back where it was screwed in. The screws that hold the mesh to the frame of the back are very short and are probably part of the problem. The company has since sent us replacements for all of the chairs. The new backs are a one piece solid plastic with holes; they seem to be holding up better than the original mesh backs.
